Maharana Pratap of Mewar

Maharana Pratap was born on May 9th 1540 in Kumbhalgarh(Rajsamand). His father was Maharana Udai Singh II and his mothers name was Rani Jeevant Kanwar. In 1567, when Pratap Singh was only 27, Chittor was surrounded by the Mughal forces of Emperor Akbar. Maharana Udai singh decided leave Chittor and move his family to Gogunda. The young Pratap Singh wanted to stay back and fight the Mughals but elders convinced him to leave Chittor.

In was the 1572 Pratap Singh had just become the Maharana of Mewar and he had not been back in Chittor since 1567. His old fort and his home beckoned to him. for taking Chittor back. In 1576, the famous battle of Haldighati was fought. Jahangir The Grate Mughal King

Jahangir was a famous man and his full name is Salim Jahangir. He was great mughal empire. He was born in 15 augist, 1569 at Fatehpur Sikri, India. His father was great empire whose was Akbar and his mother was rajput princes. Salim was taught Urdu, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, history, arithmetic, geography and other etc. Prince Salim succeeded to the throne on the eighth day after his father’s death. when he took the name Jahangir.

Jahangir first reign was marked by peace with many popular acts. He started prisoners of war, to protect Islam religion and granted general amnesty to his opponents. He set up a “chain of Justice” outside of his palace.

Jahangir married his twentieth and last wife, the extremely beautiful and intelligent Mehr-un-NisaJahngir was a good writer, interested in arts and he loved nature. He liked paintings and collected many beautiful of them in his palace.

He was death in 18 October, 1627 in Pakistan. Nur Jahan his wife built his tomb in Lahore. Tourists come here to see his famous tomb in Pakistan.

Ashoka The Great King

Ashoka was the most famous in Mauryan kings and was one of the greatest rulers of India. He was born in 265 B.C. He was son of Bindusara and the Grandson of Chandragupta Maurya.

The great ashoka was only first reign was very dangerous and It was marked Mahayoudha (Mahasangram). the battle took Two thousand three hundred years ago a place in India between the Mauryan empire of King Ashoka in the republic of Kalinga. The Kalinga war in which more then 100,000 men were killed, 150,000 injured and thousands were captured and retained as slaves.

Every male in Kalinga fought against king Ashoka and, at last the final battle was end, thousands warriors lay dismembered next to a river running red with blood. The empire ashoka seen and walked on the battle ground, suddenly one beggar stend up from red water, carrying a dripping bundle of soil in his arms and holding up his bundle.

The injured beggar said ‘Mighty King’, You are able to take thousands of live. you can give back one life – to this dead child”. Many people say the beggar was a Buddhist. It effected on ashoka to never raised his sword again.

Ashoka set some new rules. He banned animal sacrifices and he established free hospitals and dispensaries throughout his empire. The great King Ashoka was deied in 232 BC. The india’s Greatest Hero and his inscribing edicts on rocks and pillars which are very famous in all over the world.
