Keoladeo National Park is an unmatched place in India. The Keoladeo Ghana National Park or Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is situated near the town of Bharatpur which is 55 kilometers far from Agra. The name Keoladeo is comes from the name of Hindu temple which is devoted to Lord Shiva in this sanctuary. Keoladeo National Park have a big forest here which is known for the beauty and nature. Keoladeo National Park is famous for its water birds. More then 375 species can be found herein this national park.
Keoladeo National Park was named as a bird sanctuary in 1956 and after some time in 1981 it was named as a national park. The Park is a Heaven for bird watchers. Keoladeo National Park beauty is attracting many tourists from all over the world. Keoladeo National Park is very nice place to see and take photos of wild Birds. There are many birds protected in this Keoladeo National Park.
There are many wild Birds are protected in Keoladeo National Park like egrets, herons, storks, cormorants, darters, spoonbills, ibises, ducks, colorful geese, cranes, pelicans and flamingos and Siberian crane. Many animal are also protected in this Keoladeo National Park like sambar, spotted deer, black buck, blue bull, wild boar, jackal and jungle cat.
