The Ashoka Chakra is the national emblem of India. There was a Grete Emperor in India whose name was Ashoka. He ruled from 272 BC to 232 BC. The National emblem Symbol is an adaptation from the Sarnath Lion. The Ashoka Chakra is the symbol of peace and goodwill in India.

The Ashoka Chakra is Carved on a single block of sandstone and it is polished nicely. There are four lions, standing back to back and 1 lion is hidden in back side. The wheel appears in relief is made in centre of abacus with a bull who is on right and a horse who is on left. The Indian Government adopted it as the emblem on 26th January, 1950. The motto “Satyameva Jayate” means “truth alone triumphs”. The Wheel of Law is said as Dharma Chakra.

The Tringa is the national flag of India. The national flag tiranga is a tricolour flag of India.It is a horizontal flag having kesariya colour at top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom in equal proportion. The Tringa is the symbol of our national pride.

In centre of the white band there is a navy blue wheel having 24 spokes, which appears on the emblem of India.
