Tiger The National Animal of India –

Tiger is the national animal of INDIA. In India There are 60% of about tigers of the world’s wild tiger population. There are 66 national parks and 421 wildlife sanctuaries In India for tigers . The Project tiger was launched in India in 1972 as a conservation programme for saving the Population of Indian Tiger. so the Indian national animal tiger is famous.

Tigers are the biggest cats in the world. The body of tiger bears black stripes against brownish yellow colour to Rufus background with a white underside and The colour scheme of the tiger allows it to unseen in the forest. Tiger is a symbol of strength and it’s place is high in Hinduism.

The current estimated number of tigers in India is from 3,000 to 3,500. The size of male tiger ranges from 275-290 cm and for the females it is around 260 cm. The age of tiger average around 8 to 15 years.

The night vision of tigers is six times better than that of humans. The Tail of tiger is 3 to 4 feet long and Tigers use their tails for balance when they run through fast on turns. tiger use their tails to communicate with other tigers also . The female tiger carries total responsibility of bringing up the young puppies. A tiger learns every survival skill from its mother. There are many types of animals and birds can be found in India. many wildlife sanctuaries are here in India.
